FAQs
How long does a VA disability claim take?
1
Processing times vary depending on the complexity of your claim and whether additional evidence or a Compensation and Pension (C&P) exam is required. Straightforward initial claims may take a few months, while claims involving multiple conditions, appeals, or unemployability determinations can take considerably longer. Working with an attorney early can help avoid delays caused by incomplete evidence submissions.
What makes you different?
2
We intentionally keep our caseload small so that every client gets real attention — not the assembly-line treatment veterans sometimes experience with larger firms. That means more direct access to your attorney, more time spent understanding the specifics of your claim, and a strategy built around your situation rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. We bring the same discipline and commitment to fighting for our clients that we were trained to bring to service itself.
How do I get started?
3
Getting started is simple: reach out through our contact form with some basic information about your situation, and we'll follow up to schedule a time to talk. There's no cost or obligation for that initial conversation, and it's the best way for us to understand your claim and let you know how we can help.
Do I need a lawyer to file a VA disability claim?
4
You are not required to have a lawyer to file a claim, and many veterans successfully file first claims on their own or with help from a Veteran Service Organization (VSO). However, an attorney can be especially valuable for denied claims, appeals, unemployability determinations, or cases involving multiple conditions and complex medical evidence, where the strategic and evidentiary stakes are higher.
